show modal dialog box

hi,
i'm using struts to implement my application.
i'm getting a modal dialog box from my parent window after gone through
action class.
when i try to open it again , dialog is opened without going into the
action class.

is there any history to keep the information with modal dialog box...
kindly help me and let me know why iam getting this problem.
