Found a 'src.zip' is in the directory in which
I installed the J2SDK.

Since I did not specifically put it there, it must
have come with the installer..

Yes, but that is for the J2SE JDK, not the J2EESDK. I don't think Sun
distributes the source for those.

Version 1.4 can only be downloaded if you are a "licencee", see

ah well, all I wanted to do was see the source from within eclipse like you
can with the SE version

Does anybody else think it's about time Sun tried to make it's site easier
to use, it's probably the most confusing & difficult to find anything of all
the sites I go on!
