Static build and Oracle OCI problem

Hello All!

I use Oracle 8.1.7 and use OCI in my projects.
I use Linux OS (Red Hat Linux 7.3 kernel 2.4.18) and gcc-3.4
compiler.
I want build my project as static and use compiler option -static.
But i need libclntsh.a file (in $ORACLE_HOME/lib exist only libclntsh.so)!!!
Please! Give me link on this file!!! It's very important for me!
Do you know any solution?
