swing focus issue

Hi,
i have swing application.
It doesn't come in focus, instead in taskbar it blinks.
Is there any way to grab the focus instead of blinking it in the
taskbar.

JRE version: 1.6.0_13
OS: Windows XP

Visibility is not focus.

Try adding toFront() after that call. Then (only
if necessary), call requestFocus() as outlined in
the first reply.
