Thank you very much, Mister Vigilante. I realized that the Linux crowd
didn't have much use to discuss this post in a professional manner.
Then, some anal retentive folks like yourself want to tell the teacher
who is misbehaving.
The implications are that whoever replies from the more serious groups
(any group outside COLA) will actually have a chance to discuss the
material from MIT (where I work) in a rational manner.

Bah! What are you, a slacker? The correct way is to do it the way I do it: Visit every single
newsgroup, look for this message and reply to it. It's the only rational manner.
In order to save time I will also write a program, perhaps written in ADA or FORTRAN, to do this
for me automatically so if someone cross-posts *and* multi-posts again, I will be ready.

rational manner? How are we to find all the other rational discussions of
it which you have scattered liberally across Usenet? Do you at MIT have an
ESP device which would aid us in this?
Karl Uppiano said:Well, I thought it *was* an interesting article, anyway. What is the best
way to put something out there on multiple newsgroups without multiple
posting or cross-posting? I am genuinely curious. Obviously the OP's
approach was not PC.

If it was a serious attempt to start a discussion then putting more
than just a link in the post would have been the sensible way to not
make it look like a troll or spam.
