Tiles or equivalent

the project I'm working on needs a (struts) Tiles-like framework to make
page design easier and more efficient. I've looked att Tiles but also at
some of the competitors (Sitemesh for instance). Which one do you guys use
in your projects and why ?

the project I'm working on needs a (struts) Tiles-like framework to make

in your projects and why ?

I used regions in some older projects but use Tiles in my new stuff.
Particularly nice is the ability to store definitions centrally in
an XML file and extend them as needed. Makes maintenance easy, IMHO.
