Java.sun.com, Sun's main Java site, has an interview (http://
java.sun.com/developer/Meet-Eng/marble/) with Tom Marble, Sun's
OpenJDK ambassador whose role is to facilitate the growth of the
OpenJDK community in an effort to promote Java ubiquity,
compatibility, adoption, and innovation. He's busy serving as a bridge
with the OpenJDK community by articulating the objectives of external
developers to internal Sun teams, and by explaining Sun's interests to
the community. The interview is interesting in what it has to say
about OpenJDK hacking, benchmarking, copyright law for developers and
other stuff.
I guess the main point though is that he's the guy to contact to make
sure Sun gets any messages you want to send them, or to get
clarification from Sun.
