I have a couple of questions about this issue:
I have a grid with 2 columns containing drop down lists and anEdit button. The first is a set of names with autopostback=true. When the selected item is changed, the second column iscorrectly populated with telephone numbers for that name. Butchanging the selected item on the numbers list withautopostback=true causes an immediate refresh and resets theselected index to 0.
1) Why?
2) On changing the numbers list with autopostback=false theSelectedIndexChanged event never fires and the index remains 0.Why? It is as though the row can only keep track of one inlineedit control. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
