Unable to set focus to textfield in a applet if browser is set to Sun JRE 1.4

Hi Folks,

Unable to type anything or focus cannot be set to a textfield in a
Applet if browser(IE 5.5) set to use Sun JRE 1.4.
It works fine if Microsoft VM is set or JRE 1.3 is set.

Have seen many people reporting it. Any breakthrough ?
I would appreciate any kind of help or advice.
