up from IE6.0, will this fix it?

OK, got a weird thing going on in my IE 6.0.2900bla bla on XP home w/
SP3 ( hey, it wasn't broke so why fix it until now?)

Certain sites are being hijacked over to a Verizon search engine that
then craps out when I go for the link on that engine. Happens on
Yahoo, happens on Google...happens on Dogpile! Go figure...none of my
virus, bho or adware bots are fixing it. If I load IE7 over top of
this, will my problems go away or is IE7 using parts of what night be
wrong with 6? Or...do I system restore?

Your question has nothing to do with asp. Didn't you browse through any of
the other posts in this group to see if your question would be on topic? :)

It appears your browser has been hijacked. I would suggest you go to a site
like Malware Removal.com (http://malwareremoval.com/forum), read their faqs
which will involve downloading HijackThis (HT) for starters so you can
generate a HT log file to post.
