upload file to hotmail then imageshack

So, I went to hotmail and attached a file to an email
then I went to imageshack and clicked on browse.

The 'choose file' window opened in the folder where I attached the file to
hotmail.

how did it do that?

Most browsers remember the last directory viewed in a file dialog - it
would be rather annoying if they didn't.
