much the exact comment you've just made, in this newsgroup. Inside a
couple of months, all-out war had broken out in this group with every
single thread, dozens a day, were about it. Eventually there was a
vote, proposed by a poster called Red E Kilowatt, on whether the 'FAQ'
should be revised to remove the reference to spam. They (the netkopps)
lost that vote, and in a fit of pique decided that a vote wasn't a
good idea after all and so it should be ignored.
On and off I've been revisiting this argument in here ever since,
defending innocents from the overzealous attentions of Stuckle, Viper,
and Kilowatt. In fact Kilowatt got so upset about it he built a
hate-page just for me where he publishes libels about me and
identifies my name and an address I own - you can see the level of his
dementia at http://mike-dean-kook.com. Stuckle eggs him on to further
outrageous lies, including the complete fabrication that I sent him a
series of emails (tricky, I was mid-Atlantic on a freakin' PLANE when
some of the mails were sent!). I used to keep a similar set of pages
documenting the netkopp nutters, but I realised that I'd been brought
down to their level so removed them.
