User Name from NDS using VC++

Hi
I have an apllication in VC++ for which I need to get the user name
from Novell Directory services network. Does anyone know if this is
possible and how to do this? I will appreciate any help with this.

If this is off topic for this group then where should I go to find
answer to this question. I am VB programmer. Recently our VC++
programmer has left so I am trying to pick up VC++. If there is some
other group whom I should approach with this question then let me
know.
