Validate checkbox from dropdownlist value

Hi there,
using ASP.NET 3.5, how is it possible to disable a checkbox when the user
selects a particular value of a dropdownlist?

another similar question.
If I have 2 checkboxes, and I'd like to disable one of them when the user
select one, how can I make this?
