Apologies. This is reposted due to updated nospam alias.
On some vista machines users cannot access a local web server on localhost
via the
browser.
Access via is fine 127.0.0.1.
This seems to be due to a conflict with IPv6.
Is there any way around this other than editing the hosts file or disabling
IPv6?
This might be a bit complicated for some users.
What is the cause of this problem?
Why is it a problem on some machines and not others? Is it caused/fixed by
a service pack or update.
