I was looking at java.net I think it was. I see there are alot of java
projects that you can sign onto to do work. I don't think you make any
money, since java is free, but it could be good experience and help
find work, people to network with etc. Does anyone know much about this
?
Pressumably, the first time it might make sense to sign onto something
small to see how it goes if you've never done this or worked with these
people, etc. Do they figure out some sort of timeline or do people just
work out solutions and submit them when they are done and see if they
get accepted ? Are there any Java groups sort of like Perl mongers
(java mongers) in large cities like Boston ?
