Why discussion groups aren't updated?

I was wondering, why the following discussion groups aren't updated?
comp.lang.c++
comp.lang.c++.moderated
comp.std.c++
comp.lang.java.programmer
The last update is June 25.
Is there something wrong?

Google Groups is going through one of the spells where Google's complete
disinterest in the service is showing through more than usual.

Wow, it must be bad then!

Worse: the main page of google.com is mildly hosed. You can't get to
"advanced search" or Google Maps or anything except a plain vanilla text
box. I hope this is not somebody's idea of an improvement.
