Asp Web Application Problem

When i try to make a new web application project i keep getting the
following error:

Visual Studio.Net cannot create or open the application. The likeliest
problem is that requiered components are not installed on the local web
server. Run Visual Studio.net setup and add the web development component.

so i went to reinstall/change in the control panel yet i found no web
components.

I am using vb.net standard edition and i am using the cassini sample web
server.

How do i fix this problem?
