.net 1.0 vs 1.1

Question:

I am running 1.0 of the framework and vs.net 2002 professional. If I
install 1.1 will all my apps work or do I need to recompile them?

Is there the chance that a lot of coding changes need to me made?

Do you need to uninstall 1.0?

Does anyone have a link to the msdn site on documentation of 1.0 vs 1.1. I
am having difficulty finding it.

Yes, the two will run side-by-side. Visual Studio requires 1.0 to do the designer stuff, but will compile the 1.1 framework no problem. I have the same situation, and found that Dennis Bauer's ASP.NET Version Switcher was a HUGE help. Check it out at http://www.denisbauer.com/NETTools/ASPNETVersionSwitcher.aspx.

In most cases, the apps will work. There are some instances, however, where
they will not work under 1.1. You can tell your app which version to run
under, so there is no damage.

The primary area of breaking changes is in the XML classes.
