I have page that uses frames to display a list of word documents on
the left and an area to open a MS Word document on the right. This is
working fine for me except one item: the frames cannot be resized (by
clicking and dragging the frame border) when a Word document is opened
- but when a Word document is not open (i.e. some other HTML page is
displayed) the frames are resizable. When a Word document is open and
I attempt to click and drag for resize, the frames appear to resize a
few pixels then stop as if I had stopped dragging or released my
click.
Anyone have any idea as to a cause or solution to this problem?
RE: Frames - yes, I wish I could get rid of them - further comments on
frames being obsolete are (agreed to) and moot.
