Oracle 10G PL/SQL Developer - MUST also have Java Skills!
Location: Tampa, FL
6 month contract with possible extension
Pay Rate: $40/hour C2C
Interview: PS then F2F
Candidate would work on various tasks related to interfacing the
Clearing PRPC system to other bank systems.
The work would be java coding, stored procedure coding, analysis/
design, documentation, development discussions with other groups,
assist in guidance of other tech groups on system tech refresh (SA,
DBA, MQ Admin, etc), assist in data-center migration, mentoring
mainframe coders on new technology, filling out forms for approval (ie
security, requisitions, job submission, etc), assisting with
production events, setting up unit and integration tests.
The applicant will be participating in a development team working on
Pega Rules Process Commander - a Servlet workflow application
supporting the Customer Service functions of Funds Transfer. The
system maintains a large online archive of payment related data and
the applicant would be involved in the loading and querying of this
data. The system interfaces to many legacy banking systems and the
applicant would be involved in building, maintaining and documenting
the interfaces to these systems as well as working with the owners of
these systems on design.
Manager NOTES:
Candidate must be strong with Oracle DB Programming and have a solid
ability to support the DB. The 10G database is HUGE and supports many
kinds of applications.
Java Development is also required.
