The compiler failed with error code 2000

Hi all,

I am running:
.NET v1.1
VS 2003 EA
IIS 5.1

And I have a solution that has a Web Application and several COM
components and DLLs
I am getting randomly error The compiler failed with error code 2000
when running the application in Debug mode

If I just close the browser window and run it again it usually goes
away.

I have seen other posts about this and I have tried following:

Reinstall IIS
Reinstall VS
Reinstall .NET
changing Debug / Release mode
and the virtual directory name is 6 characters long

This awful error keeps making my life difficult is there any hot fix
for this? Please answer MS people
