Where is the binary of Framework 2.0 projects?

Hi there,

Maybe a dumb question but I am playing with VWD 2005 Beta 1 (using the
integrated web server) and wonder where is the binary file of the compiled
project. I can't find it on the project's source directory as there is no
'bin' folder in there. Where can I find it? I need to move it to another
computer with IIS to do some testing.

Take a look at

By default I believe Beta 1 uses the "Full runtime compilation" which means
there is no bin folder, you deploy all your files, including /code and when
the code is JIT (just in time) compiled, it doesn't make use of the /bin
folder but simlpy stores it in the Temporary ASP.Net folder. This is the
same way 1.0 compiles non-codebehind files...

That's a good link, Karl.

It explains that ASP.NET 2.0 allows the use
of 4 possible compilation options, including :

Normal (same as ASP.NET 1.x)
Batch compilation
Deployment pre-compilation
Full runtime compilation

Which one is used is up to the developer,
depending on his needs and circumstances.
