Obvious you're not up on places like UltraShock.

Who can't even build a liquid text site? *snicker* Apparently the
"*REAL* world" is a few shades deficient from "wally wally land" where
we consider people like Brian Zick to be "highly acclaimed web
architects": http://www.brianzick.com/

LOL. If thats what the people of wally wally land consider "highly
acclaimed", then theres your problem. You need to get the **** out of
wally wally land.

That static 1024x768 layout is all about "usable and accessible" is
it? LOL, I remember when you stupid bitches acted like the whole
fuckin WORLD was gonna end when I did a static 1024x786 layout on the
NP Index site...now these stupid bitches do it and it's all "okay"
because they're "*REAL* world" "highly acclaimed web architects".

*snicker*

Apparently "highly acclaimed" means you can pretty much do an absolute
shit job and morons like Mimic will still be singin yer
praises...yeah, remind me not to ever gain THAT status...*shudder*...

...that site really isn't that visually appealing. In fact it's a
very minimalist design, meaning it's supposed to be more functional
than visually appealing.

And what a bang up job they're doing of "guiding the industry on web
standards"...you know, what with how NO WEB BROWSER IN EXISTENCE
actually meets those standards...which is sorta interesting when you
consider that the peeps who make up the W3C are corporations like
Microsoft, Mozilla, etc, etc. I mean, they're setting standards that
even THEY don't meet...yeah, think about it. You got lied to, Bitch.

A "world renowned emag", eh? ROTFL...yeah, sure kid, sure. I don't
think ANY "emag" could be considered "world renowned".

...so have quite literarily hundreds of thousands of other assholes.

Oh hey, just what we need, ANOTHER group of assholes who thinks they
should be the ones setting the "standards".

Uh huh, sure kid. All I'm seein is that the same stuff I was doing
TWO YEARS ago that you were bitching incessantly about is suddenly
bein slurped up by all you deficient little assholes. Apparently that
means that *I* set the standards and you stupid bitches are just two
years out of date.

Of course it's not, I mean it requires a shit load of skill to be able
to use say Flash in a manner that's as productive as deficiently
easier alternatives (which aren't as cross browser compatible, cross
platform compatible or cross resolution compatible). There are really
only a handful of people on the entire fuckin planet who even have
that level of skill. Because of that, no, it's not something that's
going to be implemented by every stupid jackass who runs around the
net claiming to be a "world renown web architect".

Actually no, Stupid. The "Flash craze" as you call it from the "LAST
CENTURY" was all about using Flash from an animation
perspective...however recently Flash has gone from something that used
to only be good for animation to an incredibly powerful web
development tool...of course, like I said, it ain't easy (yet) which
is why the stupid deficient bitches like you haven't all jumped on the
new Flash bandwagon. But hey, I give ya morons two years, I'm sure
Flash related app makers will have made it real cookie cutter for you
drooling retards by then.

This post doesnt really need any reply. In one stack of lines, youve
manage to prove how much of a fool you are. How little knowledge you
actually have. And before you moan about proof and arguments, I dont
need to, because EVERYONE else knows what you just said is a load of
bollox, so the only person I would be educating would be you, and we all
know that you never listen - hence no need to back anything up.

If they're made up, how do they validate:
http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http://www.backwater-productions.net

Don't you even fuckin comprehend what a DTD is? Free cl00, MORON,
it's just a line of fuckin code at the top of yer web page. *rolls
eyes*

Correction - should read "it's NOT just a line of fuckin code".

I usually don't care enough to indulge your mindless fantasies, but like a
car accident I shouldn't slow down for, I couldn't resist this one.
Making your own DTDs?

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "W3C Sucks//DTD Farfoos//EN"

Like I said, it's just made up. Browsers usually ignore tags it doesn't
understand and because that isn't a valid DTD, browsers just ignore it.
That's why pages will load with no DTD specified and why browsers will
load your page with your phoney DTD, the browsers are just ignoring it.
You can fool your clients into thinking you are what you say you are, but
we're not them. In the land of the blind the one eyed man is king and
you should go back there. We see you for the fraud you are.

WRONG! The browsers use the file specified in the Doc type, you
fuckin MORON. What the hell do you think this is for:
http://www.buttwater-productions.net/farfoos.dtd
It sure the **** isn't 21K worth of code that's just being ignored you
stupid fool.

I know for a fact because when I use a custom DTD with specific things
that would only work in a browsers quirk mode...they don't.
Therefore, teh browser isn't reverting back to quirks mode which is
what happens when no (or a munged/fake) DTD is specified.

Once again, this is the difference between a deficient little puke
like you who only READS rather than actually test things for yourself.
****, if I wanted your retarded little NONpinion I'd go fire up Google
you dribbling little idiot.

lol Your too funny, now it's a real DTD but it wasn't like that when I
totally burned you on it before. It was added after the fact. The link to
the DTD wasn't there originally and it was validating as 4.0 Transitional,
the default DTD. Just another one of your pathetic attempts to lie. Nice
try n00b. To bad the backpeddle isn't an Olympic event, you'd get the gold
every time. That shit may fly with the yokels in Walla Walla but not all
of us live in an ignorant backwater dump.

Uh oh, backpedal, LOOK OUT!

Sorry dumbass, but I didn't change a thing:
http://www.buttwater-productions.net/_images/tehproof.gif

Check the date, moron, teh farfoos.dtd has been there since the 20th.

....because we all know it's impossible to fake an image. Besides, just
because the file was there doesn't mean it worked. Probably forgot
something in your DTD that you cut and pasted...I mean "created".

that, incase you still have problem, here's two screenshots

http://www.geocities.com/my_test_lab/ala-1024.png
http://www.geocities.com/my_test_lab/ala-1280.png

Happily fixed as ever...

the content columns are static sure, but the header and footer are
liquid in that they stretch the entire length of the screen.

Well apparently it's more than what you know, Poserboi:
http://www.backwater-productions.net/_test_platform/nocode.swf

Perfect liquid site...no code. He, he, he...HTML is dead d00d.

Oh yeah, you don't need to Poserboi, you just keep runnin at the
fuckin mouth, I'll just keep on creatin website after website after
website. Hell at this rate I'm churning out about 3 public ones a
month, each one topping the last in design, form, usability, etc, etc,
etc. And what the **** have you got, Poserboi? Yeah, NOTHING...which
coincidentally is all you've EVER had.

Why would anyone care whether the header and footer are flexible when
the content is not? The content is what matters.

ALA's latest design, like all prior versions, is as fixed as ever, and
as unusable as ever. Once text is zoomed to something much more readable
than their defined microfonts, there are only a few words per line.
There is nothing more tedious than reading long, narrow columns of text.

ALA is still most usable with stylesheets disabled. Maybe someday
they'll get a clue, but it is not this day.

I think you should maybe then learn first what liquid design (or fluid
design, or any size design) means because obviously you don't know that
meaning currently. So, google's your friend when you do some research...

I know what youre saying, but most people run their browsers at full

Have you guys actually noticed how much useful content there is on that
