I am pleased to announce the release of a binary gem containing the

largely untested).

Changes concerning RMagick were:

RMagick 1.6.0 - August 19, 2004

~ * Added posterize, gaussian_blur_channel, convolve_channel,
trim, and trim! methods to the Image class
~ * Added new CompositeOperator constants
~ * Added an each method to the enumeration classes
~ * Added the stroke_width= attribute to the Draw class
~ * Fixed bugs #624, #642, #716, applied patch #819 (thanks to
Daniel Quimper)
~ * Tested with ImageMagick 6.0.5-2, GraphicsMagick 1.1.3, and
Ruby 1.8.2

The windows binary changelog:

* Removed some libraries from static binding and put them into
the form of a dll. Modifies installation procedure !
* WMF format should now be supported.

I would be grateful for bug reports, feature requests or just the
occasional 'thanks kaspar, it worked !' !

Thanks to Tim Hunter for his great work on an exceptionally complete
library !

best regards,
kaspar
