The Ctalk 20120123 release snapshot is a maintenance release that
contains updates which add more reliability and consistency to the
language's expression analysis, code generation, and error reporting.
This release also contains updates to X11Pane, X11TextPane,
X11CanvasPane, and X11Bitmap classes, which provide a more flexible
interface to the X Window System libraries. These changes also add
minor speed improvements in both the front end and Ctalk run-time
libraries.
In addition to the project page at http://freecode.com/projects/ctalk-lang/,
I am now uploading the Ctalk source .tar.gz archives to Google code,
at http://ctalk.googlecode.com/. If there is any interest, I will
also add a subversion repository there.
We would also like to expand the Ctalk class libraries. If you have
any contributions, ideas, or requests for new classes or methods, or
any other ideas to add features to the language, please feel free to
send e-mail to one of the addresses below.
Thanks,
