Beginner needs help with Geo Targeting

What I want to do is a simple geo target for some ads I have. If a
visitor from the UK or US views a page I want a specific ad to load up,
if they are outside the UK or US a want a different ad to load up.

Is this possible with Javascript? I don't need a complicated PHP
script, just this simple task.

Thanks.

That should annoy the Canadians, Manx, and CIers, and probably many
Irish too.

You cannot tell where the visitor is *from*; in this building there are
people from Ireland, Iraq, Australia, etc.

You can, if you assume a properly-configured computer, sometimes tell
where the visitor is or probably is, using time zone information. You
can detect Lord Howe Island with certainty, AIUI; and probably the less
populous parts of Greenland. More than an hour ahead of GMT rules out
US & UK location (except for part of Kent). But most of the US Army in
Iraq probably won't want non-Anglo advertisements.

Give them a pair of radio buttons, one for UK/US and one for others.
Probably they'd prefer to have neither checked by default, with the ads
loading onChange.
