Binding Typed DataSet with ObjectDataSource

hey all,
my ObjectDataSource is bound to my Typed DataSet for CRUD functionality. is
there any optimizations for doing it this way? because it seems to me that
you're instantiating the dataset on every postback or am i misunderstanding
the concept?
