C++ library for SCADA project (Linux/Unix, Windows, OpenVMS)

Hello,

we have build a library for our Open Source SCADA project
http://pvbrowser.org

The library supports Linux/Unix, Windows and OpenVMS.

The doxygen documentation of the library can be found on:
http://pvbrowser.de/pvbrowser/sf/manual/rllib/html/classes.html

It can be downloaded at:
http://pvbrowser.de/pvbrowser/tar/rllib.tar.gz

We are primarily engineers in electronics not computer specialists.
Thus our library may include some "never do" things :-(
But we think, that it is at least usefull to some people :)

The library has been used now for several years.
Thus only modifications should be done, that are compatible with existing
applications, that use this library.

Could you please have a look on the library and tell me,
what should be added in order to avoid problems (possible buffer overflows,
not enough documentation, ...) ?

Thanks in advance:
Rainer
