cached azMan applications loses its roles

Hi,

We have a web service using azMan that our Web Apps call to do user access
control, it caches the azMan applications as they are needed as otherwise
performance was not acceptable. The azMan store is located in AD.

This usually works fine, but 3 or 4 times a week we find that calls start
failing as the Role Assignments of an application (not all, but some roles)
just disappear. We have to manually force a refresh of the cached azMan
applications, then all is OK till next time.

What are the possible causes of this?

At the moment it has me stumped as I'm not an azMan or AD expert.
