Is there a way to display multi-day events as a bar (Gantt?) on the
asp.net calendar control showing the date range (ie: Oct 1 to Oct 3)
of the event (aka MS Outlook)? Also can the event name be diplayed
inside the bar as a hyperlink so a user can click on it to display
event details on a separate page/form.
I'm using asp.net 1.1 (vb.net) bound to a sqlserver 2k backend storing
various event details (eventname, startdate, enddate, location, etc).
Currently, my event calendar displays an eventname just in the
StartDate cell of the calendar control.
prefer vb.net code but c# would be acceptable also.
I've investigated some of the 3rd party components available and
haven't been real impressed so far. Looking for a relatively
straightforward way that I can build this functionality myself but
need a little guidance to get me started. Has anyone else done
anything like this? Can you share code snippets or point me to an
on-line resource?
TIA,
