Database email frameworks & Rails killer app?

Hi;

I'm a big fan of the Email::Store framework by Simon Cozens. Is
anyone working on a similar framework for Ruby? It seems like this
would be a great thing to build in Rails, but I don't want to
duplicate the wheel.

Seems like it's a good match for an ORM library (of which there are several
good, usable ones).
