Position : Software Developer with Java
Duration : 3 Months
Location : Princeton, NJ
Work Summary
The candidates filling these Lead and Senior positions will be responsible for working with Development leads in the high-level systems design/architecture and full-scale implementation of the system.
The candidates will perform in a server-side development role or may also work on client side, and may also be responsible for writing requirements/technical specifications/use cases.
The candidates are expected to demonstrate expertise in core Java as well as web technologies such as XHTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, Apache, AJAX and SOAP, XML and XPATH.
Applicants should have experience using multiple programming/scripting languages, developing automated test cases using the JUNIT Framework, and in cross browser development.
Experience with JSF, Spring and Hibernate frameworks is a major plus.
The candidates are expected to work creatively and independently to accomplish project goals.
Responsibilities
Participate in design/architecture meetings.
Apply industry standard analysis, architecture, and development techniques to assist in providing optimum solutions.
System Development Efforts – design, coding, testing, debugging, quality assurance review, and appropriate documentation.
Performing comprehensive preliminary testing and producing all entrance criteria documentation required to promote products under development to Software Test (SQA). Interacting with other areas within us to implement interface points via web services and other technologies.
Demonstrate strong problem solving ability, logic, and analytical skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
Maintain team spirit and a positive attitude are important.
Experience, Knowledge, Skills
Must have at good experiance of progressively diverse analysis, development, and testing experience using Java and Web technologies.
The person must demonstrate strong knowledge and experience with the responsibilities outlined above.
The candidate must have significant experience with technologies listed.
Experience in J2EE and core Java packages.
Experience in web technologies such as: XHTML, DHTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and cross-browser development.
Experience with XML.
Experience in developing automated test cases using the JUNIT Framework.
Experience in other frameworks such as JSF, Spring, Hibernate, Struts, etc.
Experience with JBOSS is a plus
Good communication skills in order to interact with clients, and other technical staff.
