Directory permission

How can I check the permission of the directory? I want to make sure I have
the "write" permission of the directory before I create a new file.

Any idea?

You can go to http://support.microsoft.com/?id=825751 you can download
"xcacls.vbs". you can either call that from your code, or you can
incorporate the relevant functions into your own code.
