Does anyone have a calendar function useful for a blogger?

Does anyone have an user friendly calendar function that might be
useful for a website blogger? My server is now Apache but I may setup
my own very soon.

I would prefer it if part of the input were the year and month. The
output would be a small monthly calendar (preferrably in HTML) where
each active hyperlink would correspond to the url in a related text
file that would also serve as input.
