Editor Software

Can anybody recommend - aside from WYSIWYG - free editing software that
allows you to edit/update your pages online. I'm not after a stand alone
product like Dreamweaver or Frontpage but something that allows you to log
onto your site and use a user friendly interface to edit pages.

There is Webmin but I see you are using winders, but in any case, you might
check sourceforge.net to see if it is cross platform. I hear it works well.

Webmin, isn't made for editing or updating web pages. It was made for
administrating your system. Webmin does support Windows according to
their home page under "Supported Operating Systems"

HTML-Kit <http://www.chami.com/html-kit/> will do that. Open the document
via FTP, edit and save. Of couse, it will have your snippets and any
plugins available for editing.

Thank you, I learn something everyday, again. I should check before I put
foot in mouth.

Crimson Editor, http://www.crimsoneditor.com/ if your platform is
Windows.

On linux, I use Kate.

Thanks for all the wonderful suggestions thus far. Though I have a fairly
good grasp of HTML, I'd like an editor that also allows me to have a design
view ie: like WYSIWYG format along with HTML.
