Embedding a control (.ascx) into a table

Hello,

I am fairly new at programming in .NET. I am having an
issue where when I drag a web control into a table in my
aspx page, and then render it, it comes across as longer
than the table (i.e., the table doesn't resize, making me
think its not really embedded) and it seems to give a
layered effect.

Could someone please help me figure out how to fix this?
