Event firing twice bug?

I have a datagrid control I am using - the edit & update events are firing
twice. I searched on google and see others have had same issue not just with
datagrid but with other controls, but no resolution except to try
"AutoEventWireup="false" , which it already is and it doesn't fix it. Can
anyone help me?

Can you put a breakpoint on the page load event and make sure the
*page* isn't loading twice? I had a problem once with the Button
control causing that, even though you are probably using links.

Also maybe you could post the code where you hook up the events.

Check to see if you have any BACKGROUND attributes with "#xxx..." as the
value . like "Background ="#XXXX.." to any of the tag. these kind of
attributes causes the post back again causing the event to fire up again.
