Get Filename

I have 3000 PDF files, I need to insert a cover page containing the PDF filename on all 3000. Adobe has a batch processing command where I can insert a new page, now I just need the code to retrieve the filename from the PDF to apply it to the cover page. Anyone have any ideas. I know it can be done with java, but have don't know how.

I'm very much an amatuer, be easy on me.
