Google is now doing what I need to...No Border

Some of you may now have the new "Google Talk" (Googles little chat
screen). Very small, no borders does not look like IE at all.
Looks very much like a Web Page though.
How is that if everyone says Microsoft has teathered our creativity to
disallowing any other type of window other than theirs?
Thanks,
Trint

PS - I would be happy to send anyone a screen shot of Google Talk.

"Google Talk" is a client application. Not run with IE or ASP.NET(or
web pages)

Applications with custom style windows have been around for a while..
Yahoo chat, Power DVD , Nero Start center etc to name a few.. Also
microsofts own Media player

You may want to check in microsoft.public.dotnet.framework.drawing , if
you are looking to build a client application.

Google Talk is a desktop application. And as such can have any interface it
wants. And is one of the reasons you can't/shouldn't do that with web pages,
as they should clearly remain as visibly as web pages for a variety of
user-centered design reasons.
