I have a lex file scanner.l that I compiled using lex to generate scanner.yy.c and I am having trouble compiling it gcc scanner.yy.c doesn't seem to be working correctly. I have not changed the file output name so when I run it I simply use ./a.out < test.txt but I get a bogus output as if the file is outputting some other previously compiled code but its not mine. Please Help
