How do I clear the $%#(% object cache?

I've got an app that comes up ok on my laptop but when I move it to
the server I get:

Description: An error occurred during the compilation of a resource
required to service this request. Please review the following specific
error details and modify your source code appropriately.

Compiler Error Message: CS1595: 'XXXX.Global' is defined in multiple
places; using definition from
'c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\Temporary ASP.NET
Files\root\3aedca07\dc5ff198\assembly\dl2\d4c6df90\00cf2ae4_13bbc401\XXXXX.DLL'

(and no, XXXX isn't really the name of the DLL)

I can't delete that cache directory because its in use by the server,
and I can't bring down the server because its production. I tried
just stopping that one site, but that doesn't work either.
