How should I get start with j2me

I interested in j2me, because I want to setup my school's project
about sms in my own language. I try to seach in internet, I found a
new technology J2ME, but I don't know how should I get start with it.

Hardly new, J2ME technologies have been around for over 5 years now. The
place where I would recommend you start is with Sun's Wireless Toolkit
version 2.x. This will allow you to build MIDlets that make use of the
Wireless Messaging API which allow you to send/receive/respond to SMS
messages.
