is there any alternative to Visual Studio .NET ?
I mean is there any free IDE for .NET Development (mainly C# and J#) ?

you can give web matrix a go.... its a dotnet dev env... i have seen a lot
of people talk about it... unfortunately for me... VS.NET is more than
sufficient...
you can download it from www.asp.net

Alternatively borland has come out with its own C# complier... and you can
get your hands on it at
http://www.borland.com/products/downloads/download_csharpbuilder.html

Borland C# Builder, the Personal Edition is free for non-comercial use.

For commercial user it's worth it to pay for a good IDE (VS.NET or Borlands)
