We're seeing a problem here that I was wondering if anyone else has
run into.
We have a large applet (the JAR file is around 2.7megs big). It works
fine under Windows with IE or Mozilla. It runs fine with the MRJ
applet viewer. But, it doesn't always work with IE5. Our setup is
Mac OS9.2.2, IE5, MRJ 2.2.5. The applet is being served by Apache
1.3.27 on HP/UX, but I've tested it with Apache 2.0.something and
Tomcat 4.1.24 on Windows XP.
When I look at the Apache logs, I see that only 2.5 of the 2.7 megs
are actually downloaded. The exact number of bytes changes, but it's
always around 2.5megs.
Has anyone seen anything like this before?
Thanks,
Dave
