know if it is also a problem in Firefox on PC

Umm - its in WebKit, not Gecko. Its the rendering engine used by Safari
and which is related to KHTML (as used by Konqueror). The code doesn't
go anywhere near Firefox, so there's no reason to expect the problem
exists there as well.
