Java and Autonomy

I've been doing research on Autonomy. I was wondering if anyone has any
ideas on where to look for more tutorials/tips/examples since it seems
that there's not much out there to play with. I read that there can be
done some java development done for Autonomy but I'm not sure where to
start, or even why would I like to do any development at all. Any
ideas?

Have you tried Googling

autonomy programming java

I did and got 40,400 hits. One way to become
autonomous is to learn how to Google. : o )

Autonomy has an excellent Java-API to speak with SUIR et.c. via XML. The
official website is full of documumentation.

As the matter of fact, I did look up google and most hits don't help at
all. I also checked Autonomy's website and I found very confusing the
way they refer to old names (e.g. DRE=SUIRs). I'm working on using the
fetches Autonomy provides (FileSystem, NotesFetch,
PSTFetch..etc..etc...) I'll try to find a way to automate the process
but in the mean time, if there is anyone there with few tips... google
is not too helpful for now... :(

What is it that you want to automate? Isn't the built in tools enough
for your fetches?
