Job Description and Responsibilities:
The candidate will be a member of a diverse team of developers
supporting various components of the financial systems architecture.
The technology platform includes database-driven Java-based Intranet and
Portal systems on both Oracle (primary) and Sybase SQL databases.
There will be some integration and support work with vendor package
software.
Responsibilities include some project management duties along with
his/her manager, software development, testing, and change management.
This is a software development position.
Job Requirements:
Experience with Java/J2EE, XML, SQL, DHTML and JavaScript, and UNIX is
preferred. Experience with C/C++, Win32, Java Swing, AJAX, PHP, Perl a
plus. Experience in any development (any level) language or platform is
required.
Candidate should be current with the technology platforms available.
Experience with Oracle Portal or other Portal software is a major plus.
A four-year bachelor of science degree in Computer Science, Computer
Engineering, or related is a major plus.
Experience in system/process design (software, engineering, or
mechanical), project management, small staff management, and project
oversight a major plus.
Candidates should have excellent written and oral communication skills,
be self-starters, and excel when working in a team environment.
