• Financial Services – Experience with financial or regulatory systems

Position Description/Responsibilities:
The client has a large multi-year development project to implement a
global system for regulatory beneficial ownership and transaction
reporting. The scope includes all product lines that trades in, all
entities and all business transactions. A combination of significant
regulatory change across all markets; transition to a Bank Holding
Company and increased inquiries and demand for timely data mining and
analytics have created the need to improve, extend and accelerate the
build out, deployment and migration to the strategic Cobra platform.
Some of the technical challenges of the group include building and
testing application for large-scale data processing (millions of
positions, transactions and order events); integration and data flows
with numerous upstream systems; ensuring completeness and accuracy of
data reported; enabling processing to meet timely local regulator,
regional and global processing; and the need to be nimble enough to
react to new requests and legislative or regulatory change.
The candidate will be responsible for participating in analysis,
design, development, testing and support of applications for
regulatory reporting. Some of the key projects for the team include
building architecture components, application framework, and enable
migration of applications from legacy to strategic architecture.
