[maven2]Migrating vom Maven 1

Hi,

I am currently migrating a big legacy project from Maven 1.02 to Maven
2.08. The project has lots of dependencies, many of which are not even
used anymore, which are just transitive dependencies, or are just outdated.

Are there any tools, or best practices, that could help me in
getting this tedious job done?
